Statement of Faith
Our Statement of Faith articulates our essential beliefs. They are consistent with historical Christian creeds.
Statement of Faith
- The Scripture
We believe the original writings of the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired Word of God, unerring in all they teach and affirm. They are the complete revelation of God's will for the salvation of men and the final authority for all Christian faith and life.
- The Trinity
We believe in one God, Creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- The Person of Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is true God and true man, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He died on the cross, a sacrifice for our sins according to the Scriptures. He rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the right hand of God, and is now our High Priest.
- The Nature of Man
We believe that man was created in God's image, but fell into sin and is now lost and in need of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation.
- The Salvation of Man
We believe man's redemption was accomplished by the sacrificial death of Christ on the cross for our sins, and is available as a free gift of God to all who repent and trust Christ as personal Lord and Savior.
- The Holy Spirit
We believe the ministry of the Holy Spirit is to glorify the Lord Jesus Christ, convict men of sin, regenerate those who believe, and indwell, guide, instruct, and empower the Christian for Godly living and service.
- The Church
We believe the Church to be composed of all who are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and have placed their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior.
- The Return of Christ
We believe in the personal and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
- The Last Judgement
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the dead, of the believer to everlasting blessedness with the Lord, or the unbeliever to everlasting punishment.
