Jan Smith, Director of Children's Ministries
Jan Smith has been a member of Three Village Church since 1990. She has been married to Kent since 1982. They have a daughter, Lynsey and a son, Tyler.
Prior to joining staff, Jan co-chaired the Women’s Ministry Team, served on the Incorporation/Fellowship and Facilities Teams and co-directed Vacation Bible School. Currently, she leads a weekly Women’s Bible Study.
She feels privileged to have been called to serve as Director of Children’s Ministries. Her love for children is clearly evident as she shares the love and truth of Jesus Christ with them.
Jan relies on many volunteers to make a difference in the lives of children. Recruiting and equipping these volunteers is a key part of her role. In her words…
“Our Sunday School teachers, caring Nursery Staff, creative Kids’ Club volunteers and Special Events teams continue to be a tremendous blessing as they use their gifts and talents to build His Kingdom.”
Jan also has a passion for God’s creatures and tries to rescue cats and dogs, or whatever crosses her path in need. One of her pastimes is to bask in the sun with a good book and to take in the beauty of His creation.
